It's been a weird week for former Trivium drummers. Earlier this week, the band announced they were parting ways with Nick Augusto. They didn't go into detail but they made it sound like it was a mutual decision. Not according to Nick Augusto!
Nick tweeted the following last night:
Thank you so much to all the fans, support throughout the years. This was not my decision but eternally grateful pic.twitter.com/FxyBnhm6AE

Thank you ALL for the messages and kind words! New musical adventures will be happening soon. This is not the end.

Nick's probably going to have to change his Twitter handle sometime soon. But this gets even more dramatic. MetalSucks noted that the band's previous drummer, Travis Smith posted the following comment on the notice that Nick was gone:
We can confirm that is actually Travis. Travis actually left a comment on the Metal Injection Facebook page stating he's ready to get back into metal:
Post by Travis Smith.
It'll be interesting to see if Trivium take Travis up on his offer or chose to move on in a different direction.
How do you think the band should move forward?
