Nü-metal band Tallah have parted ways with turntablist and keyboardist Alizé "Mewzen" Rodriguez over allegations of grooming and receiving nude pictures of a minor. According to a report by New Fury Media, Mewzen had sexually explicit conversations with an anonymous person between 16 and 17 years old.
"We have just been informed about the allegations against Mewzen (Alizé Rodriguez)," wrote Tallah in a statement. "We do not condone such behavior, and we are cutting ties with him effective immediately."
Alleged screencaps of the conversation show that Mewzen received nude photos from the minor, admitted what he was doing was wrong, and at one point states "I'll be honest, since in [sic] horny and don't by [sic] care I kinda want more pics I'm already fucked if you snitch."
A second source also came forward with allegations against Mewzen in the same report, also alleging interactions with a minor. Mewzen has since set their Instagram to private and has not commented on the situation. Mewzen was a part of Tallah between 2020 and 2023, and performed on both the band's full length albums Matriphagy and The Generation Of Danger.
