The Devil Wears Prada has been pretty good about keeping original members. Of the five dudes that are currently in the band, four of them have been in since the band's inception in 2005… but now there's only three. In a very convoluted series of events over the weekend, The Devil Wears Prada parted ways with Daniel Williams, neither citing why nor who his replacement might be according to its post on Facebook.
“With respect, we would like to let our fans know that Daniel is no longer in The Devil Wears Prada. We wish him nothing but the best with everything he does going forward. We’re putting the finishing touches on our new album and look forward to releasing new music very soon.
Much love, TDWP”
Williams also made a statement on Twitter (in segments), which is about as clear as the band's statement.
I’m sure i’ll be getting a lot of questions today – I wish i was able to answer them. Just know that the fans are all that matter to me.

Remember the good times and shows. And please keep in touch. I love you all. Cheers.

As everyone knows – I’ve always loved to engage with fans. Now I can call you all friends instead. Say hi to me on the street in San Diego.

And for those asking that have not gotten the update, I’m no longer a part of TDWP. Sorry for the confusion/lack of clarification.

So maybe it was a legal thing and they can't talk about it? Or nobody wants to talk about it right now but it'll get revealed eventually? Either way, Williams left behind a solid body of work with the band that really only got better with time. Seriously, go check out the Space EP and 8:18 LP.
