In an effort to raise money for future releases, New York's own boutique extreme metal record label, Broken Limbs Recordings is selling some super rare cassettes, vinyl, and CDs via a Big Cartel shop they just set up. Most of this stuff is from the label owner's private collection and it's all offered on a first-come-first-served basis so, if there's something there you want, get it now.
There's plenty for the discerning metal head to covet in this collection, too. Broken Limbs is offering up albums from Panopticon, Hell, Wolves in the Throne Room, and Driller Killer to name just a few. And they will be adding even more albums for sale in the coming days and weeks, so keep checking back for new goodies.
If you still can't find anything that tickles your fancy, consider buying one of the many great albums Broken Limbs has released since their inception in 2012. Their entire catalog is available via their Bandcamp page right here. There's physical media available for a lot of their releases or you can go the digital route. Many of their digital releases are pay-what-you-want, too. So, even if you're broke, you can still grab something for a few dollars. Five or six dollars for albums by Hunter's Ground, Oak Pantheon, or Yellow Eyes is a steal given how good each band is.
Seriously you guys (and gals), Broken Limbs is a tiny label but the music they release is excellent. And the only way they can keep distributing excellent music is if fans support them monetarily. I know I'm evangelizing pretty hard here, but I love extreme metal and I want to see labels I love thrive so I can get my grubby, elitist hands on more great music in the future. So get to listenin' (and spendin') because you guys care about the scene too, right?
