Bad Wolves' first ever European and UK tour hit a severe road bump. Frontman Tommy Vext had to be hospitalized in Nottingham, England.
Vext shared on Instagram that he is recovering currently from a severe viral bronchial infection, an infection that could be compared to pneumonia. Vext is hopeful the band could continue the rest of their tour but has to cancel the gig tonight in Birmingham.
Vext shared the following message on social media:
“Dear friends,
Thank you for all your messages and concerns.
Unfortunately I’ve been hospitalized for the past two days recovering at Queens Medical Center in Nottingham.
After many tests doctors determined I have a severe viral bronchial infection. Very similar symptoms to pneumonia with dangerously high fever and heart arrhythmia. I am awaiting updates to see if I can be discharged and return to tour today. Please stay tuned to @badwolvesofficial and thank you for all your well wishes and positive vibes.”
The tour resumes tomorrow in Bristol, so it doesn't give Vext much time to rest, but they do have a day off after before hitting London on Sunday. Here are the dates:
