Geoff Nicholls might not be a familiar name, but the man served a few purposes in Black Sabbath over the years. Nicholls played rhythm guitar for Black Sabbath live between 1979 and 2004, occasionally bass, and played keyboards on all the Black Sabbath albums from Heaven And Hell in 1980 to Forbidden in 1995,
Nicholls passed away on January 28 after a battle with lung cancer at the age of 68 years old. Nicholls was also the guitarist and keyboardist in Quartz, and played keyboards on Tony Martin's 2005 album Scream.
