A fan attending the Warped Tour in Toronto yesterday (Sunday, July 15) died after collapsing. According to news reports, she was found around 12:40 in the afternoon by EMS officials, who attemtped CPR, but to no avail. When paramedics arrived she did not have a pulse and was pronounced dead while being transported to the hospital.
According to AltPress, the girl who died was nineteen year old Taylor Nesseth, as confirmed by a post on her tumblr. According to numerous tweets, she was found during Chelsea Grin's set.
While some people are quick to jump on jokes about their negative thoughts about the band and how it could lead to death, ultimately, it's tragic that a young girl lost her life. Clicking on her tumblr page totally humanized this random scene girl for me, and it's certainly quite the bummer to her family and friends and my thoughts go out to them. The band has tweeted:

Other than a tweet promising further comment once they get all the details, no further official word from the organizers about the event.
