With virtually every tour in the next few months canceled or postponed, it's time to accept the reality that some of your most anticipated albums coming out this year will be delayed for a bit. One such album is the new Hatebreed record.
Jamey Jasta took to Twitter to announce the unfortunate news. The reason is that retail and pressing plants in Europe and North America are either closed or will be closing soon, making it impossible to manufacture new product.
Jasta notes that Hatebreed fans buy a lot of CDs and vinyl, so the label is trying to protect its investment, understandably.
Thanx you too, album is postponed indefinitely. I’m told retail + pressing plants in EU & N. America will be closing or are closed already making manufacturering/pre-orders impossible. Our fans buy a lot of vinyl/CDs so the label needs to protect their investment understandably https://t.co/ADGu3m3VWB

While it's certainly unfortunate, it seems like a wise move not to reschedule it to a date that might not be able to be fulfilled and then having to push back again. Who knows when manufacturing plants will be ready to accept orders again?
At least we got a new Hatebreed single to enjoy until then. Jam "When The Blade Drops."
