NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! I previously called Grace Perry the praying mantis of metal. Seeing her live was always a treat, but those days are now behind us. Landmine Marathon have announced that they have parted ways with Grace. There is no drama, it was amicable, Grace is just going to focus on “non-musical endeavors.” That means she needs to get a "real job" and being in a metal band just wasn't cutting it. It's a story we're hearing all too often, most recently with Suffocation frontman Frank Mullen saying he can't afford to tour full time anymore.
Thankfully, the band has found a replacement in Transient vocalist Krysta Martinez and she seems up to the task. The band re-recorded the track "Dead Horses" with Martinez on vocals, and she sounds great:

Ultimately, I really enjoy Landmine and it's great to hear they will still be crushing it for years to come. How do you feel about the change?
