Longtime Motorhead guitarist Phil Campbell did not have the best Thanksgiving, as he was spending some time in a hospital for an undisclosed health issue.
On Friday, the band posted the following message on their Facebook page noting the cancellations:
With great regret, Motörhead have to cancel the sold out show in Berlin today, November 27th. Our brother, guitarist Phil Campbell suddenly required hospitalization. He will be better soon but there is no choice other than to cancel our show in Berlin.
We all wish Phil a speedy recovery,
Lemmy, Mikkey and the Motörhead family.
Please check back, we will get you all information as soon as we have it.
It hasn't been a great few years for Motorhead health-wise. Lemmy has his own problems, we just lost founding drummer Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor and now this?
No word on what exactly brought Phil Campbell to the hospital, but if we hear anything more we will update the story.
