Chevelle seems poised to release the follow-up to their 2021 record NIRATIAS sometime in 2025. According to vocalist and guitarist Pete Loeffler in an interview with Ruinous Media, a new single should be out soon followed by a new record hopefully soon thereafter.
"We don't know when [the next album is due out], but we're hoping to get a single out there real soon, in the next month," said Loeffler. "So, if everybody in our team sort of agrees on which one that is."
Loeffler further explained Chevelle's decision to go independent after the release of NIRATIAS, saying: "We don't have management at the moment. We've just been rolling, dude, since '21. We just let everybody go. I mean, we have all the other team members — agents — and we just started interviewing some management. And that's hopefully going to be a good thing. We'll see about that."
The next Chevelle release will be the band's first on Alchemy Recordings. Every Chevelle record outside their 1999 debut album Point #1 has been released on Epic, so this is a pretty big move for Chevelle. Chevelle is currently Loeffler and his brother Sam Loeffler on drums. Chevelle has been touring with bassist Kemble Walters since 2021 after the departure of Dean Bernardini in 2019.
