Louder Than Life 2024 took a hit last weekend when Friday’s performances were entirely canceled due to bad weather, leaving hundreds of fans disappointed. The inclement conditions not only ruined the day but dashed the hopes of hundreds of catching what would have been Slayer’s second reunion show.
In a generous move, festival organizer Danny Wimmer Presents is offering affected fans a special opportunity to make up for it. Those holding Friday tickets or 4-day passes are being invited to get in touch, for a chance to attend Aftershock Festival, where Slayer will headline on October 10.
"Missed Slayer at Louder Than Life? We’re heartbroken too. 
But we’ve got something special for all Friday and 4-Day Louder Than Life pass holders: an exclusive chance to see Slayer at Aftershock in Sacramento on Oct 10! Check your email for details on how to RSVP!", reads the social media announcement.
The organizers are also working on further compensations for the canceled event, reassuring fans that more is in store: “Please note that this isn’t the only thing we’re working on for you, to make up for Friday’s cancelation at Louder Than Life. Accepting this offer will not disqualify you from additional compensation. Stay tuned for more information later this week. Thank you for your continued patience and support!”
