Dave Grohl & More To Bring The Jams At Dimebash 2020

It's going to be a big party

Dave Grohl Gets Behind The Drumkit for MOTORHEAD, THIN LIZZY Classics As Part of "Ride for Ronnie"

One of the big events of NAMM weekend is the annual Dimebash charity all-star jam. You never know who will show up. The show lineup is set and then people hear about who's partying, they rush over and they want to be a part of the jam. Last year, we got footage of Corey Taylor, Dave Grohl, Rex Brown, Scott Ian and Chris Broderick cover Pantera's "Walk."

Who knows what fun is in store for this year's event, happening on Thursday, January 16 at The Observatory OC in Santa Ana, California. The all-ages event is hosted by Jose Mangin of SiriusXM Liquid Metal/Octane and kicks off at 7pm.

Tickets are available at DimebagDarrell.com. As always, there will be killer raffle prizes given out throughout the show. Texas band WhiskeyDick will open the show. Proceeds from the event will benefit music education and animal rescues. There are limited VIP ticket upgrades available, giving you access to a VIP afterparty featuring Dave Grohl's Backbeat BBQ.

Dimebag’s longtime partner Rita Haney said, “This year will mark the 15 year anniversary since Darrell was taken from us…even more of a reason to come together with friends and chosen family to honor the man that brought so much love and laughter to our lives…not to mention some pretty sick tuneage!!! If you’ve never experienced ‘the room’ at Dimebash, it’s something you can’t describe – the love, the unity, the smiles, the magic. It’s a special kind of vibe you have to check out at least once for yourself. Then you’ll almost know what it’s like to have Dime physically in the room.”
