Megadeth has been consistently at it since 1983, barring 2002 to 2004, meaning there's been new albums and tour cycles for about 34 years at this point. Frontman Dave Mustaine said on Twitter about one year ago today that Megadeth has about two more records in it.
Now via the very same medium, Mustaine says there'll be at least one more album. Like I said last time, it's hard to fault a guy who's 55 years old wanting to retire from the job he's been at for that long. Though with the lineup Megadeth's currently got, we're hoping for a few more albums for sure!
I'm pretty tired, but no, we have one more record to do and that will include another 12-24 month tour. https://t.co/eYmBt6hZey

Yes, and that should have said "at least one more record." https://t.co/OEitXzC1Yu
