The Black Dahlia Murder is currently out on the road with Suffocation, Necrot, and Wormwitch supporting the band's new album Nightbringers. Decrepit Birth has been a part of that tour package but has now announced it'll be dropping off due to an ongoing medical emergency regarding its guitarist Matt Sotelo's pre-existing medical condition.
Due to the intensifying of a pre-existing medical condition, our guitarist Matt Sotelo is not able to finish the rest of the dates for the current tour with The Black Dahlia Murder, Suffocation, Necrot and Wormwitch. Matt will need the next few months to recover, but is expected to make a full recovery and will be ready to tour again next year. Since Matt is such an important member to the band and VERY integral to our live show, the band will also not be able to continue on with this tour without him. We all apologize to our fans who already bought tickets to see us. We promise to return to your area for make-up shows next year. Again, we apologize to our fans and friends who planned on seeing us during this tour. We were having a great time… but please, still support this tour and go see the amazing bands that are on it. We’ll be back!
In the band's place will be The Zenith Passage, though they won't be coming on to the tour until November 4. Check out the dates below, which include the addition of Exhumed for a brief period of time in November, as well as a few minor changes in lineup on November 4 and 5.
