Bill Ward might not be drumming for Black Sabbath on its final tour, but the man is keeping busy with making new music. Since that whole spat, Ward released his solo album Accountable Beasts in 2015 and has now announced his brand new band Day of Errors!
While we're not too clear on the specifics of the group just yet, Ward has announced that the band will be a three-piece where he performs drums and vocals, Nick Diltz will play bass and do vocals, and Joe Amodea will play guitar and also contribute vocals. He also announced that the band will feature guest musicians on its debut, such as Walter Early contributing additional percussion and Aron Ward on keyboards.
Ward doesn't attribute any of these names to bands, but I'd venture to guess that Diltz is the same Nick Diltz of All Hail The Yeti, and Walter Earl is the same Walter Earl that contributed percussion to Ward's solo record and Jerry Cantrell's solo stuff in 2002. Clearly that's just conjecture based on the names, and these might be different dudes, but I'm willing to bet I'm right about Walter Earl at least.
