Josh Cook lives in a house with his mother in St. John's, Newfoundland caring for his mother and working several jobs to make ends meet. Cook was recently delivering pizza to an address that according to CBC "police have received at least 112 calls about the residence," where his car with a ton of his CDs in it was stolen.
Later that weekend, Cook found his car outside the same place it was stolen, but without any of his CD collection in it. The thieves did leave him a Black Label Society CD though, and Zakk Wylde's son got wind of that information. Wylde's publicist contacted Cook, and Wylde himself sent Cook a ton of free CDs, vinyl, and t-shirts!
Even better, Ozzy Osbourne, who Wylde plays with live (again) also got Cook's information passed along to him and did the same with his solo catalog and a bunch of awesome Black Sabbath stuff.
Cook is incredibly grateful, saying "These guys, they don't know who I am. But they set me up with all this stuff. It's amazing." CBC also reports that Cook is back delivering pizza to help his family, but does not say if the scumbags who stole Cook's vehicle and music were caught.
