Ecstatic Vision aren't stoner rock so much as they are the embodiment of being in the midst of a real vivid acid trip. The band is blatantly showcasing that talent on their new song "Shut Up And Drive", which is off their coming record For The Masses due out September 20.
Here's what guitarist Doug Sabolick had to say about the track to Pop Matters.
"It's what I would refer to as 'easy-listening' as far as Ecstatic Vision goes. It's the first time I used an acoustic guitar on one of our records, but come on, I'm not making safe, digestible rock for the masses. Once the guitars and synth really heat up, prepare to trip out."
