Ex-Judas Priest guitarist K.K. Downing hit the stage at Bloodstock Open Air 2019 to play his former band's songs for the first time in 10 years. Now Downing has announced he's coming back to music with a brand new solo album.
While details remain unclear, Downing has announced he's signed with Explorer1 Music Group for the effort.
“I am very much looking forward to my partnership and future with Explorer 1. The reason I chose Explorer1 to manage my future over many other bona fide companies is their extensive roster of so many familiar and qualified experts and veterans of the industry that is surely incomparable. Also, their exciting and innovative business model is something that I truly believe will become the future industry standard, making Explorer1 leaders not followers in the music and entertainment industry."
For what it's worth, Downing's performance at Bloodstock was with ex-Manowar guitarist Ross The Boss. So maybe he's involved?
