Rapper Travis Scott is currently in the midst of a big arena tour and it's got Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee pissed.
Some of the gimmicks Scott uses included a 360 degree spinning chair and a roller coaster gimmick – both big parts of Lee's drum solo during Motley Crue's final tour. Lee took to Instagram to lash out at t he 26-year-old Houston hip hop artist saying:
"Just found out this fucking idiot Travis Scott, or someone on his team ripped off the 360 AND The Crüecifly! WTF!!" Lee said "Get an original idea bro…" Here is the video of the two of them back to back:
But Lee wasn't done. In another video, he slams Scott for stealing his roller coaster gimmick (although I'm pretty sure roller coasters existed before Motley Crue toured).
"ANNNNND not one rip off but TWO. DOPE. I get copying is a form of flattery, but this is just straight ripping off my shit. What do you guys think???"
After doing some sleuthing, Lee figured out the culprits. The same production company he hired to bring his ideas to life were working on Scott's tour. Lee wrote on Twitter:
And the plot thickens! After I and our production crew created the 360 and Crüecifly, We hired a company called SGPS in Las Vegas to create it. WELLLLL GUESS WHO’S DOING TRAVIS’S SET DESIGN???? Fucking SGPS! So all u mothafuckas tellin me I’m not right can fuck off

Prior to uncovering this, Lee threatened to sue Scott. I am no lawyer, but I doubt there are any copyrights in place for this sort of stuff.
Hey @trvisXX lawyer up!
