Full Terror Assault Open Air Festival 2020 will be back for its sixth edition between September 9 and 12 at Cave-in-Rock, IL. The festival so far features Exodus, M.O.D., General Surgery, Ground, and Shock Narcotic. Of note on that list:
- Exodus of course will be working on a new album in 2020 now that Gary Holt is done with his Slayer duties.
- M.O.D. will be performing half M.O.D. tracks and half S.O.D. tracks.
- General Surgery hasn't ever played the Midwest and hasn't put out a non-split release since 2012.
- Shock Narcotic is the new grind-esque band featuring vocalist Shawn Knight (Child Bite), guitarist Jeff Tuttle (ex-The Dillinger Escape Plan), drummer Zach Gibson (Shit Life, ex-The Black Dahlia Murder), and Don Slater (Battlecross).
Full Terror Assault Open Air Festival 2020 is the first true European-style open air festival for extreme music fans in the US. Fans will experience a day of early camping, which is free throughout the entire weekend, and a DJ party on September 9. Thursday, September 10 will continue the pre-party with contests, music and activities.
The festival kicks into full gear on September 11 and 12 for two more days of non-stop blistering sets from the best bands in extreme music. More than 50 bands will play over the course of the weekend. In addition to live music, Full Terror Assault Open Air Festival 2020 will host food vendors and a “Terror Market.” FTA is a BYOB event.
