The first Saturday Night Live of 2019 will feature the return of the rock. Greta Van Fleet have been confirmed as the musical guest for next Saturday's show (January 19th). This will be the first rock act to perform on SNL since Foo Fighters' Christmas 2017 performance.
The band will be joined by special guest host Rachel Brosnahan, the star of the Amazon Prime show, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
"It is an honor to announce that we will join [Saturday Night Live]'s esteemed legacy on January 19!" the band tweeted. "The brilliant [Rachel Brosnahan] will host the special broadcast, their first of the year."
Greta released their debut album, Anthem of the Peaceful Army, late last year to mostly positive reviews.
