Here's 53 Seconds of AC/DC's New Song "Demon Fire"

It sounds like a Clutch song.

AC/DC will release their new single "Demon Fire" next week and you can hear 53 seconds of the track below. The song opens up with some seriously Clutch-type riffs, and then of course goes straight into a catchy-as-all-hell AC/DC chorus.

The new AC/DC album Power Up was long-rumored to feature guitar tracks recorded by now-deceased rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young, but ultimately was confirmed not to by vocalist Brian Johnson. In a recent interview, guitarist Angus Young  commented on the absence of Malcolm's tracks, saying they do exist but aren't really fit to be heard by fans.

"I know a lot of people have been saying, did Malcolm actually play, is it his instrument on the new album?" said Young. "I chose not to do that because I felt Malcolm himself wouldn't like me trying to splice his guitar work.

"Malcolm and myself, a lot of what we had done through the years, we'd make notes with the tracks. Some might be a little bit rough here and there, and I polished them up. In other cases, Malcolm might have done just a small bit and then I would do the next verse. The bulk of the contribution of Mal is mainly musical."

That being said, Malcolm Young is credited as co-writer of every song on Power Up

The new AC/DC album features vocalist Brian Johnson drummer Phil Rudd, bassist Cliff Williams, and guitarists Angus Young and Stevie Young. Power Up is out November 13. Pre-orders are available here.
