Okay seriously, we've had countless about celebrities wearing big name metal band shirts. It's not like metal is some clandestine thing anymore, you know? Get over it. Though it was kind of weird to see porn star Mia Khalifa wearing a Maruta t-shirt that one time. Who knows, maybe that's her pre-work jams or something? Good for the dude that can keep up with it though…
Anyway! Maruta totally deserves the shout out. Let's take a listen to the group's newest jam titled "Hope Smasher," and by "listen" I might "restrain yourself from destroying the room you're in." If you do the latter, blame Lambgoat– they premiered it.
Just in case you needed that extra push to check out Maruta, there it is. The group plays blindingly fast grindcore with a lot of really solid, groovy riffs to make each song actually memorable as opposed to stuffing an album with 46 songs and labeling it "SUPER GRINDY FUCK GRIND."
Good on you, Khalifa! You backed a great band.
