Stone Sour initially to me, seemed like Slipknot–lite, but in the last few years, they've really made their own mark on the world. I sort of stopped paying attention when they got really light, but the other day, they released two new tracks on their official site. The songs, “Gone Sovereign” and “Absolute Zero” are heavy by Stone Sour standards, and Corey Taylor's voice excels. I always thought Taylor was one of the best vocalists in metal, and he does not disappoint on these tracks. Check them out and let us know what you think.
