The UK duo of Inconcessus Lux Lucis will finally be releasing their second studio album this coming Halloween. WSJ and ALJ fuse classic black metal with Motörhead-esque rock to make a real quick for someone to herniate their cervical spine. They have been making music under this moniker since 2009. This new track from The Crowning Quietus called "At the Behest of the Sinister Impulse" is indeed ferocious. The former half of the song roars like vintage Mayhem or Tsujder. The latter meanwhile oozes the rocking bravado of Lemmy and company as well as the galloping riffs of Iron Maiden. The final moments roll on and also delightfully feature a King Diamond-like scream just after the four-minute mark.
Stream "At the Behest of the Sinister Impulse" and see the sinister poster that accompanies the song below. Pre-order the album from I, Voidhanger Records or the band's Bandcamp page. Vinyl will be available from Invictus Productions. Also, find Inconcessus Lux Lucis on Facebook.
