Legendary guitarist Jason Becker, who has been living with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) for over 30 years years, recently began experiencing shortness of breath and a rapid heart rate, and was hospitalized for what ended up being a bacterial infection. Fortunately according to Jason's father Gary Becker, Jason is back at home once again and has recovered! So there's a bit of good news for the day, and I'm sure a much-needed relief for Jason and his family.
In support of Jason even prior to the health scare, Dragonforce guitarist Herman Li is hosting a benefit for Becker on his Twitch channel throughout both last month and this month. It features pretty much every single metal guitarist.
