Judas Priest and Iron Maiden toured together a few times in the 80s, but it just hasn't happened since then.
Now in an interview with Anne Erickson of Audio Ink Radio, Judas Priest bassist Ian Hill is calling for it to happen again "before some of us die." Which is a bit of a grim outlook, but the metal legends aren't exactly getting younger either.
"There’s always the big question of Judas Priest and Iron Maiden. That would be really interesting if we could get that together before some of us die. It’d be great! You run into these people over the years. We’ve played with quite a few of them, but we’ve got to get together with Iron Maiden."
Judas Priest is trying to write a new album maybe this or next year, so who knows. Maybe they'll grab the ever-touring Iron Maiden when they try to hit the road once more in support of it!
