If you've visited metal sites this week, the name King 810 certainly rings a bill, but not for their music, but rather their violent imagery. Earlier this week, the band bragged that they had to bail on their big Download Festival appearance because they got arrested on "charges of assault, with intent to do bodily harm."
Welp, turns out the charges are even worse! While the band was bragging about their police report by posting a photo on their social media, ThePRP noticed that the charges for vocalist David Gunn were raised to ‘Assault With Intent To Murder.’ The members are out on $10,000 bail.
With their pre-trial happening today, another big issue for the band can arise – because of their criminal record, they may not be allowed to leave the state. Typically, you have to get permission to leave the state if you are out on bail, but in this case, I can absolutely see permission being denied. If so, the band will miss the biggest opportunity they could possibly have and that's opening for Korn this summer on Mayhem Fest… all because of a dumb fight.
King 810 might end up being known more for their criminal records than their musical ones.
