Well, maybe (although, come on!) The nominees for entry into the hall were announced today. To be eligible, an individual artist or band must have released its first single or album at least 25 years prior to the year of nomination, which means no later than 1988. The nominees will be whittled down to six, for the official induction which will happen April 2014 in New York City.

It seems like a lock that KISS are going in, although they've been eligible for over 10 years now. I want them to go in just so Ace Frehely and Peter Criss show up and it gets awkward… same thing for Nirvana. Obviously, Grohl and Novaselic would show up, but would Courtney Love, who isn't exactly getting along with Dave Grohl, going to also accept on behalf of her husband? Oh, the awkwardness!
As a prog dork, I really hope YES get in, and it would be awesome to see NWA get the recognition they deserve.
