On May 17, Korn's guitarist Brian "Head" Welch will release his book With My Eyes Wide Open: Miracles And Mistakes On My Way Back To Korn. The book will chronicle Welch's trials and tribulations from 2005 onward, as he quits Korn and eventually makes his way back into the band with a different life.
“A life-changing spiritual awakening freed Brian “Head” Welch from a stranglehold of drugs and alcohol and prompted him to leave the highly successful nu-metal band KoRn in 2005. Welch also recorded an audio version of the book, which was apparently a huge pain in the ass!
