You may know Fieldy as the terrible bassist from the biggest band of the late 90s, Korn. But did you know he has two other terrible groups? He had a 2002 side project called Fieldy's Dreams which was just awful rap, and something he is currently embarrassed of. Well, that's nice. But the funniest part of the interview in a recent issue of Revolver is when talking about his current sideproject, Stillwell and what his Korn bandmates think about that:
“They actually watch us almost every night, but they don’t seem very animated about things for some reason. They’re not coming up to me, like, “Dude, that is sooo dope!” But I’ll see Jonathan watching us from the side of the stage from time to time. I saw Munky watching us from the soundboard the other night.”
The reason Jonathan Davis isn't coming up to you giving your band "dope" praise is because Stillwell is the furthest thing from "dope." All the dope in the world couldn't make that shit sound good. I've had many friends who asked me to check out their band and for the most part I always try to say something nice to them about it after listening. But if I ain't saying anything? That usually means your band is dog poo. In case you're wondering what this group sounds like, brace your ears:
