LAMB OF GOD's Chris Adler Makes It Clear He's Not In SLIPKNOT

Or so they want us to think…

Or so they want us to think...

Someday there will be a full 24-hours where we're not posting about Slipknot. Today is not that day.

So here's where we're at on the whole Slipknot drummer thing: Slipknot lost (but probably kicked out) drummer Joey Jordison, ex-Decapitated drummer Krimh tried out for the band unofficially, ex-Madball drummer Jay Weinberg was rumored to be in the band and then most recently there was a big to do about Lamb of God's drummer Chris Adler drumming on the record.

It didn't help Adler gave a really vague answer about it when questioned too, making people think he was definitely the drummer… until now. According to a quote obtained by The PRP, Adler ain't doin' it.

“I’ve received even more questions about my involvement with Slipknot since the ABC interview I did recently. The interview was originally about my new whiskey bar, but of course took a turn into the gossip of the day. As I told her, I’ve had and have nothing to do with it. I’m flattered with the association and comparisons, but I have no involvement in their record.”

Back to the drawing board! We have our picks as to who it is, but what if it's someone we're not thinking of? What if Joey Jordison never left the band and all of this has been a massive publicity stunt for the new album to garner all the extra attention it more than likely deserves? I mean, we're throwing insane theories out there based on a few drum fills and a snare sound, so why not throw my hat into the ring.

The new Slipknot drummer is the old Slipknot drummer. You heard it here first.
