Leprous released their new album Malina on August 25, 2017. The band has systematically released a new album every other year since 2009 and has zero EP releases or standalone singles to their name. That might change come June 1 as Leprous has begun teasing something called Golden Prayers.
Golden Prayers would be a standalone single, an EP, or maybe even a compilation of Leprous' insanely hard to find 2006 demo Aeolia and 2004 demo Silent Waters. All we know is that something called Golden Prayers is being called into existence on June 1 and we're just going to have to wait and see what it is!
If I had to take a stab at what it'll be, I'll say it's either a song or EP the band has written with cellist Raphael Weinroth-Browne. Weinroth-Browne has been on tour with Leprous quite a bit lately and guested on Malina, so they're clearly close with the dude.
