According to Chart Data, Linkin Park's 2000 hit "In The End" is now the first nü-metal track to pass one billion streams on Spotify. As of right now, the track is sitting at roughly 1,000,400,000 streams. This news follows the news last week that Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory, the album featuring "In The End", is the most listened-to metal album on Spotify with a collective 2.67 billion streams. The album follows other classics like Nirvana's 1991 album Nevermind and Guns N' Roses' 1987 album Appetite for Destruction.

Hybrid Theory recently went 12x Platinum in the United States, meaning the album has sold over 12 million copies. The band also released a special anniversary edition of Hybrid Theory last year, which you can check out here.
