LOSTPROPHETS' IAN WATKINS Reportedly Stabbed Over Drug Dispute In 2023, Buys Protection & Friends

What a vile loser.

Ian Watkins

Former Lostprophets vocalist and current human trash bag Ian Watkins is currently serving 35 years in prison for what can only be described as some of the most horrific child sex offenses. Watkins was originally imprisoned in 2013 and, in 2023, was in bad shape after being beaten and stabbed in prison.

The Mirror has now issued a report on the stabbing, saying that Watkins got punctured by a "sharpened toilet brush" and is currently paying other inmates for protection. The site further reports that the stabbing was "reportedly over a £900 drugs debt" and was only severe – not actually life-threatening as originally reported.

According to authors Jonathan Levi and Emma French, who wrote the book Wakefield Prison: Life Behind Bars in the Monster Mansion that looks at HMP Wakefield where Watkins is currently held, "He is hated by many, but as HMP W is mixed, i.e. VPs and high-level gangsters, drug importers and organised crime, they just take money off him [Watkins] for his safety."

"He has spent thousands on protection. The recent stabbing was a reminder that he needs to pay. He took an amount of spice off a prisoner with a prison value of £150. Because it was Watkins, he was told he owed £900. He was high and refused to pay; therefore, he was stabbed in the side using a sharpened toilet brush."

Some grotesque details of Watkins' case included pleading guilty to 13 child sex offenses including attempted rape and sexual assault of a child under 13, three counts of sexual assault involving children, six counts of child pornography, and "one of possessing an extreme pornographic image involving a sex act on an animal."

Watkins previously made headlines in 2019 when he was sentenced to additional time after authorities found a cellphone in his anus. On that one, source told The Mirror that Watkins had paid someone to use the phone, but lost several thousand pounds in the deal after getting caught and fined.

"He had paid a Liverpool gang member £1,000 to use the phone, and when he got caught with it, he had to pay £5,000. This is fact; I know the guy who lent him the phone. Watkins is on C wing at HMP W.

"His work activity is education. He buys his protection, and his recent stabbing was due to a drugs debt. He is considered vile amongst other offenders because of his involvement in sexual offences against babies]. He pays for protection."
