Lucifer, the band formed in 2014 and fronted by ex-The Oath frontwoman Johanna Sadonis, is currently working on its followup to its Lucifer I debut, though with a very different lineup. The debut featured guitarist Gaz Jennings (ex-Cathedral), drummer Andrew Prestridge (Winters, ex-Angel Witch), and bassist Dino Gollnick. Gollnick has since been replaced by Diccon Harper (ex-Soltice, ex-Dragonforce), and now Lucifer has come forward to announce that both Prestridge and Jennings have been replaced by guitarist and drummer Nicke Andersson (Entombed, The Hellacopters, etc.).
The statement below gives a little detail, and also doesn't mention Harper as its bassist, though it does mention Saturn guitarist Robin Tidebrink. So basically, Lucifer II is coming and things have changed quite a bit.
It is true, the Lucifer I chapter is closed. Lucifer has parted ways amicably with guitarist Gaz Jennings and drummer Andy Prestidge. It's been quite a miraculous ride. The stars have aligned once again: Johanna has teamed up with Nicke Andersson (Imperial State Electric, The Hellacopters, Entombed etc.) to work on the next album Lucifer II. Nicke, Johanna & Robin will meet up in Sweden this month to record a few first songs that will hopefully see the light of day very soon. A little taste of what's to come. Nicke is also joining Lucifer on drums. Stay tuned.
