Gisele Marie is your average metal fan. She loves metal enough to front her brothers' band Spectrus by shredding the everloving hell out of a guitar and she stays faithful to her religion while doing so! According to Tribune, Marie was brought up German Catholic but converted to Islam after her father's death in 2009. No word on how long she's been kickin' ass with an axe, but it sounds like she's been at it for a while. She tells the Tribune:
“People do not expect to see a Muslim woman who uses a Burqa, practices the religion properly and is a professional guitarist who plays in a Heavy Metal band, so many people are shocked by it.”
