Megadeth guitarist and vocalist Dave Mustaine appears to be splitting with Dean Guitars and partnering with Gibson. Mustaine has been parters with Dean since 2006, and ESP before that. A full announcement regarding Mustaine's Gibson partnership is expected on February 23.
Judging by Mustaine's previous Flying V-style guitars from Dean, I can't imagine Gibson is about to roll out a Mustaine signature Gibson SG.
Mustaine was also recently spotted in the studio recording vocals for the new album.
