Metallica, in their never-ending quest to be the most charitable metal band in existence, have donated £40,000 to homeless charity Coffee4Craig. The charity is based out of Manchester, England "are a founder member for the Coalition Of Relief". Coffee4Craig described themselves as such:
As part of our ethos of working together, we are a founder member for the Coalition Of Relief. This multi-agency network is at the forefront of pushing the Manchester Homeless Charter, creating a better approach to homelessness in the city of Manchester and is creating links between the grassroots and the local government, GMP and NHS. Working together is the only way we will ever reach a point of really providing solutions for every person on the street, very hard to reach and the entrenched individual who needs the support of the multi-agency approach…. #WeStandTogether
No surprise that the band donated to Coffee4Craig via their All Within My Hands Foundation. Read more about Coffee4Craig here and about All Within My Hands Foundation here.
