The Bass Player Live! All-Star Concert and Awards Ceremony will be held on November 7 at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California. During the event, Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo will be presenting Motörhead's Lemmy Kilmister with the Bass Player Lifetime Achievement Award. It's an award that frankly, we're wondering how he wasn't given this before!
Regardless, after the awards ceremony, Trujillo, Rex Brown (Kill Devil Hill, ex-Pantera), Rob "Blasko" Nicholson (Ozzy Osbourne), Dug Pinnick (King's X) will all play bass in a tribute to the legend himself live on stage! The bassists will be joined by drummer Tommy Rickard, guitarist Lita Ford, Ugly Kid Joe vocalist Whitfield Crane and Testament vocalist Chuck Billy.
