Members of Morbid Angel, In Flames, and Hardcore Superstar have united to form Nero 5468, which is a very confusing band name that I actually have an explanation for.
So let's take a look at the line-up first, which consists of Morbid Angel vocalist and bassist David Vincent, In Flames guitarist Niclas Engelin and Hardcore Superstar drummer Magnus “Adde” Andreasson. Interesting. As for the band name, a fan on the band's Facebook page pointed out that Emperor Nero reigned from 54 to 68… so voila! Band name. Not a big fan of the numbers, but whatever; there's not a whole lot we can do about it now. Actually, come to think of it, I think there's a big electronica project named Nero, so that's probably why they put the numbers in there. The band said they'll be putting music up on their site soon enough, so check that out!
