MOTLEY CRUE To Call It Quits Soon

Motley Crue have been rocking the globe since their inception in 1980, but the band are coming to terms with the fact that it's just about over for them. Almost 40 years is a damn good run!

In an interview with The Oakland Press, the band's frontman Vince Neil had this to say about the state of the band:

"It's just time. Mick's [Mars, guitar] health is not that good, and touring is tough on him. I'm sure in five, 10 years' time we'll probably do something together again, but it's not gonna be like a Kiss farewell to the farewell to the farewell tour. We're not gonna be like that."

Neil went on to say that once the band's movie based on their tell-all book The Dirt is out, they'd like to do one last album and tour before disbanding "as early as 2016." While that might sound really far off, it's only two and a half years in the future before these legends will lay it down for good. Neil went on to say:

"It's definitely for real. We want to go out on top. We don't want to be one of those bands that people are like, 'Oh, they're playing a … little club now. We still sell out arenas and do stadium shows and stuff like that, and that's how we want to be remembered."

Sweet deal- might as well make it out while you still can with as much as you can, right? Good on them for keeping it alive this long even though their 2008 Saints of Los Angeles was super stereotypical cock rock. Seriously guys, can you get one more good one in there before it's over?
