By now you've surely seen the apocalyptic footage coming from Los Angeles as they deal with horrific wildfires. Roughly 180,000 people have been evacuated from their homes (a good portion of which have been destroyed) and at least 10 have died in the blazes, which currently span over 30,000 acres.
With all this loss and tragedy comes people and companies stepping in to help. MusiCares is one of those companies, as they're offering emergency funds to people in the music community affected. According to MusiCares, you must meet one of the two following requirements for assistance; or in MusiCares own words, "those requesting financial assistance must possess documentation of employment history in one of the following areas":
- A minimum of five years employment in the music industry, OR
- Six commercially released recordings or videos (singles)
