Jason Newsted's aptly title metal outfit Newsted will be on Megadeth's Gigantour, which marks the first band that I give a crap about to be on there.
“Massive news! Metallica fans get ready! Jason Newsted come on down. Newsted is the next contestant on Gigantour 2013. Tear it up!!!," said Megadeth's Facebook page earlier on yesterday. The lineup is now Megadeth, Newsted, Device, Hellyeah, and Death Division, with rumors beginning to flying around that Black Label Society will be taking part as well. This seems a whole lot less like Dave Mustaine trying to get fans to actually come to the show, and more like the Mustaine and Close Friends Tour. Sure that's fun for them and all, but I seriously doubt fans are giving a crap at this point. I mean really dude… Device? Why not just hire someone to fart in the mic? Same thing.
