Slipknot was founded in 1995 with Anders Colsefni behind the microphone. Colsefni performed on the 1996 album Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat. and stuck around as Slipknot's frontman until 1997, when he was replaced by current vocalist Corey Taylor.
Colsefni then resurfaced earlier this year, announcing an Australian tour where he'll perform Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat. in full every night (an idea that Taylor publicly backed). Now to take things a step further, Colsefni said in an interview with Kaosis frontman Xen that he'd be down to collaborate with Slipknot on something. When asked if he'd answer the call from Slipknot, Colsefni responded "Yeah, absolutely. If they contacted me and wanted me to do something, yeah, why not?"
Hilariously, Colsefni later names "Wait And Bleed" as his favorite Slipknot song – a song that Taylor has publicly stated he's sick of.
"To be honest with you, I'm gonna say 'Wait And Bleed', the very first one that hit right after I left," said Colsefni. "And it's the one that I would have thought that I would have hated the most, just because of my circumstances. But that song, when I heard it, I'm, like, 'That's it. I couldn't have done that like that. So kudos to you, guys.' So 'Wait And Bleed'."
