Pain Of Salvation's 2017 record In the Passing Light of Day might be one of my favorite records from the band thus far. It's really heavy, it's well written and all the progressive metal moments just fit in perfectly. Now vocalist Daniel Gildenlöw has announced the band is hitting the studio with Daniel Bergstrand (Behemoth, Meshuggah, Dark Funeral, etc.) for the follow-up to In the Passing Light of Day, which is news that should excite quite a lot of you.
Now let's see exactly how heavy Pain Of Salvation gets this time around. This will also be the band's first album with guitarist and vocalist Johan Hallgren since Road Salt Two in 2011.
