What do rock god Phil Anselmo and actor H. Jon Benjamin, voice of Sterling Archer on FX's Archer and Bob on Fox's Bob's Burgers have in common? They were both guests on the first episode of The God Damn Dave Hill Show on WFMU, hosted by our very own King of Metal, Dave Hill.
On the premiere show, Dave had Jon Benjamin in studio and as they were working through a bit, Phil Anselmo drops in via phone call. After a few seconds of pleasantries, Phil actually gets into it with Benjamin, who playfully challenges him to a "Battle of Wits," and laughter ensues. At one point, while discussing the upcoming Metal Masters 5 clinic, Anselmo joked that he played drums for Dream Theater.
