Primus made the best of a bad situation at Sick New World 2024. The band's gear got held up thanks to a snowstorm, so bassist Les Claypool and guitarist Larry LaLonde went to Guitar Center and bought some Fender gear for the show. Now Primus is auctioning off that gear, with all proceeds going to St. Jude Children's Hospital. You can bid here.
"Because of snowstorms that left all of Primus' gear stranded on the way to the Sick New World Festival in Las Vegas this past weekend, Les and Ler bought a pair of matching Fenders that day and played the show as planned," wrote Primus.
"All three band members have signed both guitars, which are now being auctioned with 100% of proceeds going to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Bids can be made until Sunday, May 5 at 12pm PT at www.closiit.com/primusforstjude."
