BREAKING: Prosecution Overruled In RANDY BLYTHE's Case But Bail Doubled To $400k

Fresh off Randy Blythe's first interview in a Czech prison, comes new information from the courts.

According to iDNES.cz, in a closed session on Monday (July 16th), the Prague Municipal Court has dismissed the prosecution's motion to deny Randy Blythe bail. This is certainly very good news.

Now the bad news, while dismissing the denial of bail, they have upped the money required for bail to double the original amount, $400,000 in total, which, according to earlier statements from Blythe's lawyers would be in the range of two years of Blythe's salary.

Even if Blythe can come up with the money, as we previously reported, the prosecution can still file another motion to reject Blythe's bail, and the whole thing would be going back around the circle, with the court then deciding if it approves or denies the prosecution's motion.

Through it all, Randy seems to keeping a positive attitude and making the most of the situation, writing in a diary and starting on new lyrics. We will keep you posted if we hear any more about this. For now, you can read our previous coverage.
